Draw with a skin marking pen the position of the Tuberosity of Navicular on a model in the Anatomical position with side lighting and a time limit of thirty seconds.

 Objective No 104 - Criteria to be demonstrated.

1. Identify the Sustentaculum Tali (Objective No 105)

2. Maintain the foot in the Anatomical Position.

3. Move the tip of the Index finger forwards from the Sustentaculum Tali approximately 2 cms in the same horizontal plane.

4. A prominent, subcutaneous ,raised bony projection can be palpated at this point.

5. This prominent projection is the Tuberosity of Navicular.

6. On applying maximal resistance to the movement of inversion, the prominent tendon of Tibialis Posterior is observed passing to the Tuberosity of Navicular from the region of the Medial Malleolus and Superior the Sustentaculum Tali.
