Draw a line with a surface marking pen on a model in the anatomical position the course of the Subclavian Artery in the Posterior Triangle of the Neck within a time limit of one minute.

Objective No 186 - Criteria to be demonstrated.

1. Identify the Jugular notch of the Manubrium in the Median plane.

2. Move the palpating finger tip in a lateral direction and identify the line of the Sterno-clavicular joint. (Objective No 21)

3. Draw a curved line from the Sterno-clavicular joint to the mid-point of the shaft of clavicle.

4. Ensure that the convexity of the line is upwards into the Supraclavicular fossa to a point approximately 2cms above the mid-point of the shaft of clavicle.

5. Draw the line curving downwards to terminate at the lateral border of the body of the First rib. (Objective No 164)
