Draw with a surface marking pen the subcutaneous Anterior Border of the Shaft of Tibia on a model in the Anatomical position with side lighting and a time limit of thirty seconds.

 Objective No 100 - Criteria to be demonstrated.

1. Palpate and mark the Tibial Tubercle/Tuberosity. (Objective No 98).

2. Palpate and mark the sharp , sinuous subcutaneous Anterior border of Tibia downwards towards the ankle region.

3. Note that as the Anterior border of Tibia approaches the lower extremity of the shaft of Tibia it becomes covered by the tendon of Tibialis Anterior.

4. Note the smooth , flat medial and subcutaneous shaft of Tibia which merges with the Medial Malleolus of Tibia below and the Medial Condyle of Tibia above. (Objectives 92 and 101)
