Mark with a skin marking pen the position of the Neck of Fibula on a model in the Anatomical position with side lighting and a time limit of thirty seconds. Objective No 97 - Criteria to be demonstrated. 1. Identify and palpate the Head of Fibula (Objective No 96). 2. Identify the Styloid Process of the Head of Fibula projecting upwards from the posterior surface of the Head of Fibula. 3. Identify the Tendon of Biceps Femoris attaching to the Head of Fibula. 4. Palpate the Neck of Fibula located inferior to the Head of Fibula. 5. Note the subcutaneous position of the Common Peroneal nerve as it passes across the posterior aspect of the Head of Fibula and then forwards round the Neck of Fibula.
