Draw with a surface marking pen the course of the Median Cubital vein on a model in the Anatomical position with a time limit of thirty seconds.

Objective No 75 - Criteria to be demonstrated.

1. Identify  and mark the Cephalic Vein (Objective No 74) in the roof of the Cubital Fossa .

2. Identify and mark the Basilic Vein (Objective No 76) in the roof of the Cubital Fossa.

3. Draw a line ascending from the Cephalic Vein crossing  the Cubital Fossa to join the  Basilic vein .

4. This line communicating with the Cephalic and Basilic veins in the roof of the Cubital Fossa represents the Median Cubital Vein.

5. The  Cephalic, Basilic and Medial Cubital Veins form the letter M in the Cubital Fossa.

6. When the  superficial venous blood flow is restricted  by light pressure to the Upper Limb, these  veins are made prominent.
