Mark with a skin marking pen the position of the Adductor Tubercle of Femur on a model in the Anatomical position with side lighting and a time limit of 30 seconds.

 Objective No 91 - Criteria to be demonstrated.

1. Identify the highest point on the Medial Condyle of Femur. (Objective No 90)

2. Place the palmar surfaces of the palpating fingers on the Medial aspect of the Thigh.

3. Palpate with firm pressure in a downwards direction towards the highest point of the Medial Condyle of Femur .

4. The tip of the middle finger will come into contact with the Adductor Tubercle of the Femur.

5. Request the model to adduct the hip joint with resistance applied to the Adductor Tubercle.

6. The strong cord-like tendon of Adductor Magnus can be identified passing downwards to its distal attachment on the Femur.
