Identify by palpation and surface mark with a pen the Head of Radius on a model in the anatomical position with side lighting and a time limit of 15 seconds.

Objective No 11 - Criteria to be demonstrated.

1. Observe the posterior view of the upper limb and request the model to extend the elbow joint.

2. Identify and palpate a distinct depression on the lateral aspect of the mid line.

3. Palpate the lateral aspect of the Olecranon process which is placed medially.

4. Palpate and surface mark the position of the posterior surface of the lateral Epicondyle which partly forms the depression in its upper area.

5. Palpate and surface mark the position of the posterior rounded surface of the Head of Radius which partly forms the depression in its lower area.

6. Palpate and surface mark with a line , the gap between the Head of Radius in the lower part of the depression and the Lateral Epicondyle in the upper part of the depression. This line represents the Humeroradial joint line of the Elbow Joint.

7. Request the model to flex the Elbow joint to a right angle. Place a finger tip on the Head of Radius and note the movement of rotation when the model supinates and pronates the Radius.
